Tifgalop Limited Warranty and REPLACEMENT POLICY & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.14 days money back: Return your undamaged/unused Tifgalop product within 14 days of the purchase date to receive a refund.

2.Electric bike/electric scooter 1-year warranty: We provide 1 year warranty for the electric bike/electric scooter.

3.1 year warranty for the battery: We provide 1 year warranty for the battery.

Note: E-bikes/electric scooters are not intended for sale to persons under the age of 18. Underage riders MUST be accompanied by a parent or adult while riding.

Target group of the extended warranty

The warranty is automatically registered when the first purchaser places his order in the online store. Therefore, the warranty is ONLY valid for the FIRST PURCHASER and the 1-year warranty starts when the first owner has received the product.

NOTE: The 1-year warranty only applies to bike/electric scooter parts other than the battery

 

What if I bought a used Tifgalop ?

You can only claim the warranty if (not optional):

1.the 1-year package has not expired since the original owner received the product

2.You have the name of the original owner and the original order number.

What if my bike/scooter is stolen?

We are sorry that the stolen bike/scooter is not covered by the warranty. We recommend that you invest in a quality lock to protect your bike/scooter when you are not riding.

Tifgalop 1-Year Warranty

All Tifgalop bikes/scooters are covered by the manufacturer's 1-year blanket warranty for the original owner against all manufacturing defects. (Free accessories are not covered by the warranty).

The 1-year warranty begins once the original owner receives the product.

NOTE: The 1-year warranty only applies to bike/scooter parts other than the battery

Replacement Procedure:

Tifgalop will replace any component deemed defective or damaged (including damage incurred during transit) without user error.

1: Claims

All claims under this warranty must be made through Tifgalop and sent to . We ask that proof of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged product be submitted along with the warranty claim. Before making a warranty claim, we recommend that you contact us at support.eu@tifgalopbike.com as we may be able to help you resolve your issue. Valid warranty claims will be processed by Tifgalop within 1 year of the initial purchase. Tifgalop cannot replace any part without first seeing a photo or video of the damaged product. The customer must email us proof.

2: Shipping Damage Claims

In rare cases, the item received may be damaged during transit. In case of shipping damage, please contact support.eu@tifgalopbike.com and send us a photo or video of the damage.

Free accessories are not included in the replacement or compensation if they cause scratches during transportation.

NOTE: We do not accept claims for shipping damage that occurs later than 7 days after receiving the products.

Frames

Tifgalop Ebike/ Electric Scooter frames are covered by a 1 year replacement warranty.

The warranty covers a replacement frame only. The labor cost of exchanging parts for a replacement frame is not included. Conversion must be performed by an authorized Tifgalop employee.

Tifgalop reserves the right to use scratches and dents when replacing a frame under this warranty. Frame models and/or colors that are not in stock may be replaced with a compatible model and/or color at Tifgalop's discretion.

Frame issues excluded from this warranty include, but are not limited to:

Corrosion

Color fading, scratches, impact marks

Damage from impact

Irreversible modifications (drilling/welding)

Attachment of chain guard to frame (if applicable))

Batteries

Tifgalop batteries are covered by a 1 year prorated warranty.

For 1 year service - A defective battery will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery remains unchanged based on the original purchase date.

After the first 1 years of use - A prorated credit based on months of use will be applied towards the purchase of a new battery. Batteries purchased at prorated cost will be covered by a new 1 year warranty based on the prorated purchase date.

Cash refund is not possible.

Batteries can only be tested and found to be defective directly by Tifgalop.

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  1. Defects or damage resulting from accident, abuse, misuse (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing or other similar activities inconsistent with the intended use of the Products), improper storage, improper exposure to liquids, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect or improper physical, electrical or electromechanical stress;
  2. Scratches, dents and cosmetic damage unless caused by Tifgalop;
  3. Products where the serial number or bar code has been removed, defaced, damaged, altered or made illegible;
  4. Ordinary wear and tear;
  5. Defects or damage to the Products caused by the use of accessories, products or add-ons/peripherals not supplied or approved by Tifgalop with the Products;
  6. Defects or damage caused by assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair or adjustment in a manner that deviates from the assembly instructions and user manual;
  7. Defects or damage caused by external causes such as collision, fire, flood, storm, lightning, earthquake, weather, theft, blown fuses or improper use of power sources;
  8. Products used or purchased outside of Germany.

9.1 In addition, this limited warranty does not cover defects or damage with respect to the battery;

9.2 caused by charging with a battery charger that is not intended or suitable for use with the battery or by improper use of a battery charger;

9.3 If any of the seals on the battery are broken or show signs of tampering;

9.4 If the battery has been used in a device other than the bicycle for which it is specified;

9.5 The corresponding battery and e-bike issues will not be covered by the warranty if you use a battery that does not match your e-bike/electric scooter model. We advise you not to use a battery of other brands on Tifgalop e-bikes/electric scooters. Even if the output voltage of the other battery is also 48V, there may be incompatibilities that may cause damage to our motors and displays..

Parts and Components

Genuine Tifgalop parts and components are covered by a 1 year limited warranty. If all replacement parts for the warranty are sent to the customer, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.

This limited warranty does not cover:

1.Ordinary wear and tear not due to defects in workmanship or materials. Wear and tear can be assessed by Tifgalop. Parts not normally covered include, but are not limited to:

1.1 Brake pads

1.2 Rotors

1.3 Spokes

1.4 Tires/Tubes

1.5 Chains

1.6 Chainrings

1.7 Cassettes

1.8 Crankset

1.9 Parts damaged due to corrosion caused by exposure to the elements (moisture, heat, etc.)

1.10 Damage or deterioration of the finish, appearance or aesthetics of the product.

1.11 Frame, fork, handlebar, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, crankset, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, LCD display, stand, reflectors and hardware. Warranty within one week of receiving the goods. Parts damaged during use after seven days must be invoiced.

 2.Labor costs for replacement or exchange of parts.

 3.Defects or damage caused by accident, abuse, improper use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing or other similar activities inconsistent with the intended use of the products), improper storage, improper exposure to liquids, chemicals, moisture, abrasive cleaners, sand or dirt, neglect or improper physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.

 4.Scratches, dents and cosmetic damage not caused by Tifgalop.

 5.Products where the serial number or bar code has been removed, defaced, damaged, altered or made illegible.

6.Defects or damage to the products caused by the use of accessories, products or add-ons/peripherals not supplied or approved by Tifgalop.

7.Defects or damage caused by improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair or adjustment in a manner that deviates from the assembly instructions and user manual.

8.Defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision, fire, flood, storm, lightning, earthquake, weather, theft, blown fuses or improper use of power sources.

9.Products used or purchased outside the EU.
