Tifgalop & Cleytro Unified Warranty Policy
 
This Warranty Policy applies to all electric rideables manufactured and sold under the Tifgalop brand and its subsidiary brand, Cleytro. Both Tifgalop and Cleytro products are built to the same high standards of quality and are backed by the following comprehensive guarantee.
 
1. Scope of Warranty
Tifgalop confirms that all Cleytro electric bikes and electric scooters enjoy the same premium warranty protections as Tifgalop-branded products. This policy is fully compliant with the EU 2-Year Legal Guarantee (Directive 2019/771) for consumer goods sold within the European Union.
 
2. Warranty Periods
  • Main Components (2 Years): A 24-month warranty from the date of delivery covers the frame, motor, controller, handlebar, and electronic display against manufacturing and material defects.
  • Battery Pack (1 Year): Due to the nature of Lithium-ion technology, batteries for both Tifgalop and Cleytro models are covered by a 1-year (12-month) limited warranty. This covers total failure or a capacity drop below 70% of the original rated power under normal use.
 
3. Coverage Details
We will repair or replace, at our discretion, any part found to be defective under the following conditions:
  • The product has been used for its intended purpose (commuting/leisure).
  • The defect is inherent to the manufacturing process and not caused by external factors.
  • Consumables: Wear-and-tear parts (tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, grips) are excluded from the 2-year warranty unless a defect is reported within 14 days of receipt.
 
4. Specific Exclusions
This warranty for Tifgalop and Cleytro products shall be void if:
  • The product is used for commercial purposes (e.g., rentals, delivery services) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Damage is caused by "stunting," jumping, or off-road use beyond the vehicle's rated capability.
  • Modifications are made to the speed controller or electrical system (e.g., "de-restricting").
  • The product suffers water damage from high-pressure cleaning or submersion.
 
5. Claiming Your Warranty
To initiate a claim for either a Tifgalop or Cleytro product:
  1. Proof of Purchase: Retain your original invoice or order confirmation.
  2. Submit Request: Contact our centralized support team at [support.eu@tifgalopbike.com] or through the authorized dealer where the purchase was made.
  3. Visual Evidence: You must provide clear photos or video of the defect to assist our technicians in remote diagnostics.
